Meet Tim The Water Guy

Over 30 years ago, our growing family moved to a beautiful property in rural Pickering, and we encountered our first issue with water; a strange smell coming from the well water led us to explore opens for purification and filtration after having the water tested.

Much to our surprise, our water actually contained harmful bacteria, and we were noticing residue on our fixtures and a change in water pressure and quality. Researching options for fresher, safer drinking water and options for filtering the water for use in the home, we found it difficult to find information. At the time, there was very little information available about water quality problems and solutions for the public, and we decided it was the right time to begin representing Kinetico Water Products!

With a new awareness of the harmful effects of plastics in our natural environment, we continue to support the motto: My World Has No Bottles. One water filtration system, the Kinetico K5, can remove up to 3600 plastic water bottles per year from the landfill! Knowing that one plastic water bottle can take up to 1000 years to break down gives us all pause for thought. Removing microplastics, bacteria, and chemicals such as chlorine from the water we drink and use every day in our homes are some of the main reasons our customers seek our advice at Performance Water Systems.
